The discounts you can get very much depends on the travel insurance company and the numbers in the group. For example, one provider might offer 5% for a group of 10 or more people, 10% for 20 or more and 20% for 50 or more. Other, companies may offer 10% discount for parties of 10 or more.
As with all travel insurance, watch out for exclusions on group travel policies. You may have to arrange extra cover if your group is going on a ski-ing trip. You should also check if you all have to travel at the same time or whether it doesn’t matter.
If you travel frequently as sports team, choir or religious group you can get annual group travel insurance. This option could also save companies time and money arranging travel insurance for employee business trips on an individual basis.
