Do you need travel insurance if you are travelling in the UK?
If you are going anywhere in the UK, essentially the only travel insurance that you need is a simple cancellation policy. This means that in the event of any transport or accommodation being cancelled, the policy will cover your costs.

However, if you are taking your pet, then you may wish to consider taking out a pet insurance, especially a policy that covers the costs of any damage caused by your pet.
