Why are the insurance prices on the Internet so low?
The Internet is undoubtedly the cheapest marketplace to buy insurance. There are two main reasons: -
How much will the premium be?
Your premium reflects the level of cover you want and how long you want to be insured for. It also reflects the risk to the Insurance Company that you may make a claim. This risk is conditioned by your age, sex, occupation, health record and life style etc.
Is the price you’re quoted, the price you pay?
Not always. It depends upon the details you disclose in your full Application form.
If you’re asked to supply more information or go for a medical, will the premium increase?
No, not necessarily. If you’re asked for more information or to have a medical it does not automatically follow that your premium will increase. To put this in context, in our experience 88% of people who apply for life insurance qualify for the price first quoted.

If a claim arises and you or your dependents do not know how to proceed, then contact your insurer immediately.

If there is a claim the insurance company will be ready to make a speedy payout - but there are a few procedures to follow to make sure this happens.

Firstly find the policy document and for safety’s sake make a note of its number. Then phone your insurer and ask for a Claim form.

When the Claim form arrives, complete and return it to your insurer together with the insurance policy document and other required documentation. We think it would be best to use Recorded Delivery.

For all claims the insurance company will want to see your birth certificate to confirm your age. They may also want to see your marriage certificate.
