I have just taken out a new loan with my bank.

They suggested that i considered loan insurance.

I never buy anything like this but with things as they way they are i guess i better have a look.

The insurance you need is called many different things ASU, payment protection, income protection etc.

When buying this type of insurance shopping around is very important.

If this is payment protection insurance they are trying to sell you then you will be interested to know that Barclays, Natwest, HBOS and the Coop are scrapping these controversial insurance policies at the end of the month.
