yes and no. ur insurer will cover the cost of the damage the water has caused but u will have to cover the cost of repairing the gutter. if the insurer sends a loss adjuster around to inspect ur property and he decides that it is generally in a bad state of repair the insurer could refuse to pay anything or offer you a lower payment. this is because within the insurers terms and onditions of insurance, it will be ur responsibility to maintain your propery in a good state of repair. if you do not do this it will affect your insurance.
