will i get charged for 2 excess payments?

The excess on your car insurance policy is per incident not per repair! Therefore, I'm afraid that you are facing two excess payments. However, as I presume that this will also decimate your no claims bonus, if the bumps are not too bad, consider paying for one or both the repairs yourself. Go to you local repair centre, explain the situation and see what they advise. There may be ways they can help.
