responsibility for overdraft

Posted: Tue Mar 31, 2023 10:56 ambest to check the legal situation with a solicitor. but as far as i am aware joint account holders are jointly liable for any overdraft. speak to you bank and get the account frozen so that the wife cannot spend more and open a new account just in your name.
